David Duchovny and his sunglasses

Few hours ago I read this (old) news about David's style:

They talk about his - bad - choice to hook the sunglasses on denim belt,especially during a premiere. What do you think about it?Is he fashionable?
Someone would say he is protecting Bob from Paparazzi :-)...
