Yes he can: Duchovny gains the 3rd season of Californication!

Thank God we got another season of Californication.

The news was announced yesterday by Robert Greenblatt, Showtime President of Entertainment.

"It wouldn't be Showtime without a yearly dose of Californication," said Greenblatt. "This unapologetic show, about a group of characters led by the inimitable David Duchovny, has quickly established itself as one of our signature comedy series. Beneath its veneer of debauchery, however, is a complex take on love and adult relationships that surprisingly turns poetic and romantic just when you least expect it. "

I love working with Showtime, Tom Kapinos, and the cast,” said Mr. Duchovny.

“We all have such creative freedom and support, it’s been a peak experience, and I am so happy to be doing the show.”

And we are ALL so happy that you do this show Mr. D...

Another Golden Globe for David Duchovny?

According to the Hollywood Reporter Mr.Duchovny and Californication will be among the Golden Globes favorites.

Indeed: "for comedies, the field is paced by"Californication," HBO's "Entourage," ABC's "Pushing Daisies" and two-time Emmy champ "30 Rock," all of which earned noms earlier this year. They will be competing for spots with ABC's "Ugly Betty," "Samantha Who?" and "Desperate Housewives," Fox's "Family Guy," and CBS' "Two and a Half Men" and "How I Met Your Mother.""
"Meanwhile, some of the favorites for the series acting categories include "30 Rock's" Fey and Alec Baldwin -- both previous winners for the show -- as well as two-time victor David Duchovny for "Californication," Hamm for "Mad Men," two-time winner Hugh Laurie for "House," Michael C. Hall for "Dexter," 2007 winner Kyra Sedgwick for "The Closer," Katey Sagal for "Sons of Anarchy," Anna Paquin for "True Blood" and "The Mentalist's" Simon Baker."

He won already two times...and as we say in Italy: "There is no *two* without *three*"

Good luck Mr.D!!!
